How to Level Up & Get New Skills in Saints Row
Saints Row has an XP and leveling system. Completing missions, challenges, side activities, and collectibles all grant XP. Once you have earned enough, your character gains a level and earns a new skill. Skills can be viewed and equipped from the Skills app on the in-game phone, brought up with the Touchpad/View button. As pictured below, up to four skills can be equipped to the face buttons. The skills can be used in combat by holding the R1/RB button and then pressing the corresponding face button.
What Is Max Character Level in Saints Row?
The max level for your character is 20, so there are 13 skills and six passive upgrades to earn from leveling up. The skills include getting a temporary health boost and an explosive punch, while the passive upgrades increase your health and flow. The latter is built up by killing and causing damage and is necessary to execute Skills. Quantum Aperture, the final skill listed, lets players create a translucent wall that can detect and be able to shoot enemies through walls. It can be earned through the Eurekabator! Criminal Venture mission line. That is all you need to know on how to level up and get new skills in Saints Row.
