Gathering Materials in FFXIV Island Sanctuary
When you first arrive at your Island Sanctuary, the Felicitous Furball will instruct you to gather a few basic materials. However, even with Gather mode enabled, it might not be totally obvious as to how you can actually gather items. Here’s what you need to do: Most of the items here can be gathered without any tools. However, once you complete the first tutorial quest for the Felicitous Furball, you’ll start learning how to craft tools, which will give you access to more advanced materials to gather on the island.
