Is Diablo Immortal Coming to Xbox Consoles?
At the time of writing, no, Diablo Immortal is not slated to be coming to Xbox One or the Xbox Series X|S systems. The free-to-play, loot-based ARPG is currently set to release only on PC and mobile devices. This may come as disappointing to some players, but to quote the developers “do you guys not have phones?!” Since that now infamous quote, the developers have announced that Diablo Immortal will also come to PC in a beta on June 2, the same date that the game will receive its full release on iOS and Android devices. Should there be any news on an Xbox console port of the game, we’ll update this post and let you know. But for now, there’s nothing to suggest this will happen.
When Does Diablo Immortal Take Place?
Immortal will explore the untold story between the events of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. If you need a catch-up on what that means, we’ve explained everything below. The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is in the process of navigating the aftermath of the destruction he’d caused. The Worldstone fragments are still tainting parts of the land, and Diablo’s minions hope to lay claim to that power to allow the Lord of Terror to return. That’s the backdrop for your return into the hack-and-slash action, and gives you all the more reason to gather up all that loot and build your perfect loadout for your playstyle. We’ve got all the information you should know on the Diablo Immortal exact global release times on PC and mobile, as well as how to preload Diablo Immortal on PC.
